RICHLAND COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) — According to the Richland County Sheriff's Office, one driver is injured after a crash on State Highway 80 today. Around 10:30 a.m., a woman was driving northbound when her vehicle crossed the center line and entered oncoming traffic.
This caused another driver to veer into a cornfield to avoid a collision. The woman's vehicle continued into a ditch and crashed into Horse Creek, submerging in about three feet of water. First responders rescued her. She sustained minor injuries and was transported by Richland County EMS.
The woman received a citation for failing to maintain control of her vehicle.
