ROCHESTER, Minn. — Rochester Public Transit (RPT) will implement fall service changes starting Sunday, November 23.
RPT says these updates aim to enhance service reliability, efficiency, and rider experience while cutting operating costs.
Several routes will be discontinued, including 103, 202, 217, and 309. However, existing routes will continue to serve stops affected by Routes 103, 202, and 309. A segment of Route 217 will lose transit service due to low ridership, which RPT says averages 20 riders per day.
Adjustments will also occur in the frequency of routes 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 102, along with other modifications to routes 101, 102, 116, 204, 306, and 307. Routes 150x and 550x will be renamed to 150 and 550, respectively.
