Already mired in bankruptcy proceedings over an $11.89 million judgment dating back to a 2015 school altercation, Shilo Sanders is now being sued by a Dallas law firm seeking more than $164,000 in unpaid legal fees — the latest complication in the former Colorado star’s long-running legal saga.

The son of Deion Sanders, Shilo, is facing a lawsuit from law firm Barnes & Thornburg LLP seeking more than $164,000 in unpaid legal fees and interest for services provided between May and August 2024 related to his personal injury case and bankruptcy proceedings, according to USA TODAY .

The lawsuit, filed Nov. 17 in federal court in Dallas, is separate from Sanders’ pending bankruptcy case in which he filed for Chapter 7 protection in October 2023 to discharge more than $11 million in debt owe
