Ty’Jerell Curry seemed to have everything going for him.
In 2016, the 20-year-old Harrisburg resident was attending college while working for FedEx. When he had spare time, he opted to spend it with friends and family, rather than out in the streets.
But on March 10, 2016, all of that promise was extinguished when a bullet meant for a friend of his hit him in the back as he returned home from a quick ride to a convenience store.
“I got hit,” he told his mom, Shawanna Plummer, as he stumbled through the back door of the house they shared near North 25th and Mercer streets.
