SOUTH FORK, Colo. (KKTV) -No one was injured after a school bus crashed in southwestern Colorado Thursday morning, according to Colorado State Patrol (CSP).
CSP said troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash involving the school bus around 7:10 a.m. on Highway 160, west of Jackson Street in South Fork.
According to State Patrol, the bus was traveling east on Highway 160 on snow-covered roads. When the driver attempted to reduce her speed, troopers said the bus began to slide to the right and off the road.
The bus reportedly slid onto the dirt shoulder, spun and collided with abandoned railroad tracks, causing the bus to roll onto the driver’s side.
CSP said 13 students were on board, but no injuries were reported to either the students or the driver.
The crash is under investigatio
