At the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla remarked humorously that reaching Bengaluru from space felt easier than travelling 34 km within the city.
He said the drive from Marathahalli to the summit venue took three times longer than his journey back from space.
The 28th edition of the summit, organised by the Karnataka Government’s Department of Electronics, IT & BT on the theme ‘Futurise’, concluded on Thursday. Shukla was among the key participants.
