A quirky restaurant is to close following the tragic death of it's co-owner.
Robert Zdrojek who ran the Old Dresser Cafe, on Bearwood Road, near Smethwick , made the sad announcement that his husband and business partner Richard Strugala had died nearly a month ago of cancer aged just 52.
In a poignant statement, Robert, 58, said he had made the decision to close on Sunday (November 23) because the place would not be the same without him.

The Old Dresser Cafe had been awarded a Certificate of Excellence on Tripadvisor, as well as a Travellers Choice Award and also boasts a five-star rating on the travel website.
