SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) - A man was charged with drunk driving after he brake checked a driver and caused a crash in South Windsor, police said.

They identified the man they said caused the crash as 30-year-old Everett Trotman of Windsor.

Police said they responded on Thursday around 10 p.m. to the intersection of Graham Road and Mark Drive for reports of a crash.

“During the investigation, it was determined that Trotman purposefully and recklessly pulled in front of another vehicle and slammed on his brakes, causing the collision and potential injury to the two parties who were in his vehicle,” said Sgt. Mark Cleverdon, South Windsor police. “Trotman also appeared to be under the influence and was uncooperative on scene.”
