ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man was injured in a shooting at a Cobb County apartment complex late Thursday night, according to police.

Around 11:49 p.m., Cobb police responded to a shooting at the Rockledge Apartments on Powers Ferry Road, just outside the perimeter, where they reportedly found a man with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital, “where he was reported to be stable,” police said.

The suspects left before officers arrived, but police detained one man at the complex. Investigators are “working to determine his involvement.”
