WINSTED, Minn. (KTTC) – Mason City Police Department has confirmed investigators returned to Winsted, Minnesota, west of the Twin Cities, Thursday in search of missing news anchor Jodi Huisentruit.
Huisentruit went missing in the early morning hours of June 27, 1995, while on her way to her morning news anchor job in Mason City.
Mason City Police Chief Mike McKelvey confirmed investigators were following up on a lead but nothing new was found. McKelvey shared a specially trained dog was used by law enforcement to search a location where a house was recently demolished and removed. Machinery was also used to dig around the site, McKelvey added. It’s unclear who the property belonged to.
