EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Two buildings just a block from the Boonville square have been demolished.

As if Friday morning, Stoner’s Grill and SassaFrassy’s Warehouse on 3rd Street are no more.

The SassaFrassy’s building housed an antique store that closed in March.

According to a social media post from them, the warehouse also had apartments with tenants.

Stoner’s Grill has been closed since May after they say demo work next to them caused a partial collapse at their building.

Reporter Leslie Chapman is in Boonville working on the story.

She’s speaking with Mayor Charlie Wyatt, but has been referred to attorneys for Stoner’s and SassaFrassy’s.
