Kulgam, Nov 21: The ‘Classes of Joy’ learning improvement initiative, launched several months ago by the District Administration Kulgam in collaboration with the School Education Department and Pratham Education Foundation, has now reached full implementation across all 458 government primary and middle schools in the district.
The programme uses the Teaching at the Right Level methodology to strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy among students from primary to middle grades.
Officials said the initiative aims to make classrooms more engaging, joyful and learning-focused, with a strong emphasis on bridging existing learning gaps.
