Strictly Come Dancing has named the first celebrity taking part in the 2025 Christmas special.

Presenter and ex-Gogglebox star, Scarlett Moffatt has confessed she "can't wait" to jump onto the Strictly dance floor and show the judges her moves this Christmas.

She revealed the news in a surprise announcement during Strictly: It Takes Two this evening (November 21), when she was appearing as a guest on the panel.

The star will be paired with Vito Coppola when she competes for the Christmas glitterball this December. Vito was previously partnered with Ellie Goldstein in the latest series of Strictly, before the pair were voted off the show.
