LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - WAVE has been working to highlight ‘what’s good’ in our community, and Friday, the story is all about bringing some holiday cheer to children who need it most.
Faculty and staff members from the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics created colorful and festive holiday decorations using thousands of Post-it® Notes donated from 3M in Cynthiana, Ky.
The windows of their building on South Floyd Street face the east side of Norton Children’s Hospital, where, inside, children and their families are fighting illnesses.
The creative idea is the brainchild of Buffy Sexton, program and fellowship coordinator in the UofL Division of Pediatric Division of Hematology/Oncology, who has seen the art project grow since 2023.
