Authorities have identified the robber behind a terrifying wolf-like mask, who forced his way through a New Jersey business’s drive-thru window, stole a cash drawer, and ran off through a nearby parking lot.

Police said Theodore Sparks, 25, was charged in the incident. His mugshot was shared by the Salem County Recently Booked Facebook page (click here to view).

Woodbury officers responded to 642 Mantua Ave. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, for a report of a robbery that had “just occurred at the business, cops said in a statement.

Police said the suspect forced their way into the drive-through window, entered the business with a weapon, and stole the cash drawer. The suspect then exited through the same window and was last observed running north through the rear parking lot of an adjacent business,” according to the release.

Security images show the robber wearing a snarling, wolf-like mask with pointed ears, sharp teeth, and matted gray fur. The suspect is dressed in dark clothing and blue gloves while swinging what appears to be a tool or weapon.

Police said they executed a search warrant on the 10 block of S. Childs St. in Woodbury on Wednesday, Nov. 19. During the search, officers took Sparks, a Woodbury resident, into custody.

Sparks has been charged with robbery, burglary, criminal mischief, assault, weapons offenses, and more.

Police said the charges were placed on a warrant, and Sparks is being held at the Salem County Jail pending a detention hearing.

The Woodbury City Police Department also reminded residents that the Watch Over Woodbury camera system is operating with more than 50 cameras. Anyone interested in adding a camera to their business or home is asked to contact police at 856-845-0065.
