UISD gives back to their police department with a turkey drive

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - United ISD, in collaboration with community partners, held its inaugural Thanksgiving turkey distribution on Friday morning.

Organizers presented 240 turkeys to United ISD police officers, security personnel, dispatchers, and administrative staff in recognition of their ongoing efforts to maintain the safety and well‑being of students and employees.

The district described the event as a modest but sincere expression of appreciation for their daily dedication and service.
