LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - High school students explored potential career paths during a career day event at Lyndon B. Johnson High School.
More than 100 presenters shared their professional experiences with students, including journalists from KGNS+, such as Marissa Rodriguez Limon and Elena Stoica, who spoke about their experience in journalism.
“It’s a chance for our students to connect with some of the industries, some of the careers that they’re interested in and really get that one-to-one perspective on what’s going on with that and how to prepare for it and what to do while they’re in school,” said Roberto G. Ortiz, principal of Lyndon B. Johnson High School.
The event served over 3,200 students at LBJ High School. Several law enforcement agencies also participated in the presentation
