LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man was shot and killed on Friday in the Russell neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Officers responded to a call at around 8:40 p.m. of a shooting in the 2700 block of Cedar Street on Friday, Nov. 21.

At the scene, police found a man in his 30s who had been shot in the face. He was declared dead at the scene.

LMPD says they believe they have the shooter in custody and that all involved parties are accounted for.
