PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix police announced on Friday that they arrested the last person they were looking for in connection with the murder of a teen boy last month.
Officers say they arrested 20-year-old Charles Stokes, Jr. on Thursday. He was booked into jail on first-degree murder and armed robbery charges.
Three teenagers were already arrested and are being charged as adults in the death of 16-year-old Trey Bomelyn on Oct. 2.
According to police, Anthony Coleman, Syncere Jack, Jacari West and Stokes were involved in an armed robbery of a group of kids near 37th Street and Roeser Road .
Court documents said Bomelyn was playing a high school game called “Assassins” with water guns with two other teens, and three people walked up to them.
They tried to steal from the group. T
