Pune, November 22, 2025: Senior officials from the Regional Transport Office (RTO) Pune conducted a comprehensive road safety inspection at the Khed-Shivapur IRB toll office on Friday to curb rising accident risks along the busy highway stretch.

The visit was led by Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Archana Gaikwad, along with Deputy RTO Swapnil Bhosale and Assistant RTO Yuvraj Patil. During the inspection, the officials reviewed ongoing safety practices and suggested corrective measures to enhance accident prevention.

As part of the drive, the Road Safety Team inspected 250 vehicles, taking strict action against violations. A total of 151 vehicles were penalised for offences including driving without insurance, using mobile phones while driving, expired permits, missing reflectors, ridin
