Liverpool will aim to get back to winning ways in the race for the top four when they welcome Nottingham Forest to Anfield this afternoon.

Following a poor performance in a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium before the international break, Reds boss Arne Slot will be looking for a reaction from his players after a disappointing run.

Slot alluded to this in his pre-match press conference, stating that Liverpool cannot focus on retaining the title and that "it is just about the next game - the only focus we have is winning games of football”.
