CONCORD, N.C. – Police have identified three suspects in connection to a shooting that happened at the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Concord on Friday night.
This happened around 7:30 p.m. on Union Street S near the Corban Avenue intersection.
Police said four people were transported to the hospital, three in critical condition and the other in stable condition.
Following an investigation, police identified 18-year-old Nasir Ahmad Bostic and a juvenile, whose name was not released, as the two shooters. Police said the shooting was not a random act of violence toward the public and that the two knew each other. Both were identified as gunshot wound victims and remain in critical condition, police said.
Upon his release, Bostic will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflict
