As police continue to investigate, family and friends are rallying around a Manitoulin Island woman who lost her husband in a fatal crash on Nov. 13.

Kyle Bond, 33, died in a four-vehicle accident on Highway 540 in Billings Township.

In response, Ashleigh Moffat of Mindemoya has started a GoFundMe campaign for Bond’s wife, Chanelle Hass. “We, her work family at Mindemoya Dental Centre, are setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of our dear friend, who is facing the unimaginable pain of losing her husband so suddenly,” Moffart wrote on the campaign page.
