PITTSBURGH —

Allegheny County police said a local man is facing charges after a loaded gun was found at Pittsburgh International Airport's security checkpoint Sunday morning.

In a post on Facebook, police said 26-year-old Justin Lang, of Pitcairn, was found with a loaded revolver at PIT's security checkpoint. Officials said the gun was inside Lang's carry-on bag.

The firearm was found just after 6 a.m.

Police said Lang did not have a valid concealed carry permit. He has since been charged with carrying a firearm without a license.

"Passengers who bring firearms into an airport security checkpoint can face federal civil fines from the Transportation Security Administration up to $10,000," the department said in the Faceboo
