A historic Jersey City printing facility that once churned out copies of the New York Daily News is being transformed into a modern logistics complex.
Plans call for the completion of the complex by the end of 2026.
Goodman Group, a global infrastructure provider, said Wednesday in a statement that it has finished demolition work at the 17-acre site and received planning board approval to move forward with development of Goodman Logistics Center Jersey City .
The project calls for two buildings totaling up to 427,130 square feet of warehouse space at 125 Theodore Conrad Drive.
The development is designed to accommodate various industries, including advanced manufacturing, logistics, food and beverage operations, cold storage, and businesses requiring automation or robotics.
