WARSAW, N.C. (WITN) - The Warsaw Police Department is asking for the public’s help after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.

Saturday between 7 p.m. and 7:20 p.m., police say a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the 600 block of East Chelly Street while walking westbound and has traumatic injuries.

The vehicle involved was also driving west on East Chelly Street, possibly toward Memorial Drive, officials say.

Police are asking people who may have any information or camera footage (doorbell, residential, business, or dashcam) capturing vehicles in the area during the specified time to contact the police department at (910) 293-7816.
