St Pauls serious assault update after busy road cordoned off View Image

Police have given an update this morning after a serious assault on a busy street in Bristol. Officers were called to Ashley Road in St Pauls by the ambulance service at around 5.30am on Saturday, November 22.

At the time, police said one person was in hospital in a serious but stable condition. In an update provided by police this morning (Monday, November 24), they said the man has now been discharged from hospital.

Following the serious assault, Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. A police spokesperson said on Saturday: "Detectives are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in St Pauls in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 22 November).
