Two pieces of a Shelby County development are scheduled to open this week in Chelsea.

And two other dining destinations have announced when they will start cooking.

Rodney Scott’s BBQ and Hero Diner will begin serving patrons at Valley Post at the northwest corner of U.S. 280 and Dunnavant Valley Road.

Designed in collaboration with Chambless King Architects and Rives Construction, Valley Post will also be the home of Little Donkey and Luca & Lucy.

Rodney Scott’s announced on social media that it will open Tuesday at 11 a.m.

“We are so excited about this dynamic development and look forward to meeting all of our new neighbors and visitors alike,” the restaurant announced.

Hero Diner will open Saturday.
