Paramedics rushed to the secondary school after a child was injured. A year eight pupil needed emergency treatment following an accident on an all- weather pitch at St Hild's Church of England School in Hartlepool .
The boy was taken by ambulance to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough following the incident on Monday afternoon. He is currently believed to be in a stable condition.
Paul Martin, headteacher at St Hild's Church of England School, told Teesside Live: "It was a pupil that was injured during lunch time, out on the all weather pitch, in an accident. We immediately called the emergency services and informed parents.
"The emergency services decided to dispatch the air ambulance. The pupil was taken by standard ambulance to James Cook (Hospital) I believe. The
