Atmus Filtration Technologies announced on Monday it plans to acquire Koch Filter Corp. or $450 million in cash.

According to a release, the transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026.

Based in Louisville, Koch is a manufacturer of air filtration products related to industrial and commercial HVAC systems, data centers and power generation.

Atmus, a Nashville-based publicly traded company that focuses on fluids and air filtration systems related to the automotive, construction and power generation industries, will acquire Koch from Air Distribution Technologies Inc. The latter is a Plano, Texas-headquartered portfolio company of Los Angeles-based private equity firm Truelink Capital.
