GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) has selected three finalists in its presidential search.

All three candidates, approved unanimously in line with a screening committee recommendation, will be publicly interviewed during December.

The finalists were selected during a GRCC Board of Trustees special session meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 25, out of a pool of 78 applicants, according to Erin Van Egmond, vice president of college advancement and executive director of the GRCC Foundation.

According to Van Egmond, the three finalists are:

Nerita Hughes, president of Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba.

Jason Rivera the vice provost for student success and dean of University College at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
