A former Campbell Soup Co. employee is suing the Camden-based food giant, alleging he was fired after blowing the whistle on a company vice president who mocked Campbell’s products and made racist remarks.
“We have sh-- for f---ing poor people. Who buys our s---? I don’t buy Campbell’s products barely anymore,” Martin Bally, vice president and chief security officer for Campbell’s, allegedly said in a recording obtained by news station WDIV .
The recording was made by Robert Garza, a Michigan-based cybersecurity expert who worked remotely for Campbell’s in Camden until his dismissal earlier this year.
Court records show Garza filed a lawsuit on Nov. 20 against Campbell’s in Michigan’s Wayne County Circuit Court.
