FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 35-year-old Fort Wayne man who fatally shot a man at a liquor store on South Anthony Boulevard is back in jail, accused of violating his probation.
Michael S. Lewis took a plea deal in the deadly June 2012 shooting of 27-year-old Christopher Mhoon in 2013. It called for him to be sentenced to 25 years in prison and five years on probation in exchange for his pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
The agreement dismissed a murder charge and sentencing enhancement filed against him.
Lewis first got out of prison about a decade after he went in, but quickly found himself back in the Allen County Jail for drunk driving and was ultimately sentenced to spend two more years in the Indiana Department of Correction, followed by three years on probation.
