FULTON COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - A Rochester woman has been arrested after police say she led them on a chase that ended with her crashing into a tree.
Deputies were called on Monday to a home on N. 600 E. on reports of an unwanted guest.
When they arrived, police said 42-year-old Nora Jenkins was sitting in a vehicle in the driveway while showing signs of intoxication. The homeowner told police she had damaged a window and the front door, but he reportedly declined to pursue charges.
While speaking to the homeowner, police say Jenkins drove off and led deputies on a chase where she “drove recklessly through county roads, failed to stop at multiple intersections, and traveled in the opposite lane toward oncoming traffic.”
According to police, the chase ended near the Menominee Access area
