A midcentury daylight ranch with vaulted cedar ceilings and expansive views in Northeast Portland’s Argay Terrace neighborhood is listed at $739,000 .
The two-level house at 13621 N.E. Fremont Court was built in 1964 by Archie E. Hodges in Holly Hills, the residential and park community he co-developed starting in 1959.
Only two homes with the same type of angled roofs and floor plan were built by Hodges; the other sits on an adjacent lot .
From the start, Holly Hills boasted streamlined dwellings and underground power lines allowing residents “to fully appreciate the vistas of Mount St. Helens year-round,” said brokers Andrea Young and Christopher Barnes of Windermere Realty Trust, who listed the property.
