FARGO — The portions of the interstate that are still open are very greasy, according to troopers.
This storm couldn’t have come at a worse time; one of the busiest travel days of the year as people try to get home for Thanksgiving.
In some spots on the road, there are drifts several inches deep.
Troopers are reminding drivers that slush can steer your car in the wrong direction in a split second. Tires can slip when braking, so motorists should give themselves extra time to slow down.
That’s why they are reminding drivers to go well below the posted speed limit.
