One person has been taken to hospital after a fire at an industrial estate in Northallerton - which destroyed one unit and damaged two others.
Eight fire engines from Northallerton, Bedale, Thirsk, Stokesley, Ripon, Richmond and Darlington were called to Gaskell Close, within the Standard Way Industrial Estate at about 4.30pm yesterday (November 25).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service tackled the fire preventing it from spreading.
However, one industrial unit was completely destroyed by the blaze and two other units also suffered damage.
The fire service has urged residents to keep windows and doors closed and said they will remain at the scene today to monitor the incident.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
