A man has been jailed for his role in orchestrating a large-scale cannabis operation worth £3.8m across Scotland.
Afrim Krasniqi, 29, ran 12 cultivations in the Glasgow, Edinburgh, Penicuik, Aberdeen, Ayrshire and Angus areas. The cultivations were discovered in both residential and commercial properties and were estimated to have a street value of nearly £4m .
Krasniqi pleaded guilty to his involvement in the plot at the High Court in Edinburgh last week. He was jailed for five years at the same court on Tuesday.
