Today, prepare for gusty winds that will make it feel cold, even with sunshine. For areas north of Interstate 64, we've seen a Wind Advisory in effect through this afternoon. This much colder airmass is really settling in and will continue to dominate through Friday.

Thanksgiving and Friday look to be chilly but pleasant, with brisk conditions. We expect temperatures to be running about 5 to 15 degrees below normal, with Friday shaping up to be the coldest day of the stretch. Highs will likely struggle to get out of the upper 30s in our northeastern viewing areas, perhaps reaching the mid-40s in the far west, but it will be breezy at times.
