LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A local barbershop chorus is ready to bring holiday cheer to Louisville.

The Thoroughbreds are hosting their 76th annual Holiday Spectacular concert on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Okolona Christian Church, beginning at 3 p.m.

The men’s barbershop chorus has a rich history dating back decades, and this year’s show aims to create long-lasting memories for families through a mix of classic and contemporary holiday songs.

“We all remember music from our childhood — melodies and harmonies that we associate with Christmas — and this is a great way to enjoy all of that,” said co-director Eric Walker.

Tickets are $20 and are still on sale.
