LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Most people think of Santa Claus flying high in the sky with his reindeer, but he's taking to the water in Kentucky this Christmas season.

Scuba Santa's Water Wonderland is back at the Newport Aquarium on Friday. The event runs through Christmas Eve.

Families will have the chance to see Santa swimming with sharks, rays, fish, and a sea turtle. This will be the first year Santa swims with the Roughtail Stingray in the Surrounded by Sharks exhibit.

After the adventure, Santa and his elves will meet with children to hear their Christmas wishes.
