GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Glendale police say a teen boy is in the hospital after being shot Wednesday evening, and the shooter is still on the run.

Details are limited about what led up to the shooting, but police said it happened near 59th Avenue and Royal Palm Road , just north of Northern Avenue. The shooter is at large but police haven’t given a suspect description.

Viewer video sent to Arizona’s Family shows multiple officers responding to Royal Palms Apartments, assisting someone near the door of one of the rooms.

The boy was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
