SEDALIA, Mo - The Sedalia Police Department's Crime Resolution Unit's investigation into a crack cocaine distribution ring in Sedalia has resulted in eight arrests.

Law enforcement opened an investigation back in August and through controlled purchases were able to identify 31-year-old Sarandon A. Staten as the ringleader. Search warrants were executed yesterday resulting in the arrests of Staten, 75-year-old William Bernard Carter S., and 40-year-old Brad A. Cole.

Following their arrests, Sedalia Police began locating and arresting additional individuals involved in the drug operation. Charges of possession and distribution of a controlled substance were filed against 68-year-old Jeffery A. Boggs, 55-year-old Tiffany S. Boggs, 34-year-old Chiron B. Webb, 62-year-old Kelvin Q.
