LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Families drive as far as four hours to the intensive care unit at Norton Children's Hospital to visit newborns.

But not everyone can spend every minute with their babies, especially when recovery can last for months.

Cameras called AngelEye are now helping bridge the divide when parents' hearts are pulled in two different directions.

Twin sisters separated by 100 miles

New parents Payton and Jesse Jones live an hour and a half away from their newborn daughter, Elizabeth, who is recovering in the NICU at Norton Children's Hospital. Twin sister Lettie already went home to Metcalfe County.

"It's not easy having your heart in two places at the same time," Payton said.

The twins were born a minute apart on Aug. 19 — two months premature.
