SCRANTON, Pa. — Five people are displaced after a fire left a Scranton duplex condemned on Thursday night.

The Scranton Fire Department was called to the 800 block of Myrtle Street around 8:30 p.m. Thursday for a fire that spread through both units of a duplex, leaving them condemned.

Five people living in the duplex were displaced; the Red Cross was called to the scene.

Fire investigators from Scranton are on scene investigating the cause as of 10:15 p.m. Thursday.
