ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The Atlanta Police Department is investigating a shooting in southeast Atlanta where a woman was injured after shots were fired into a home.

The shooting happened at a home on Lethea Street SE around 7:45 a.m. on Thursday.

The woman was alert and conscious when taken to the hospital, officers said.

Police have not said if there are any suspects or what led up to the shooting.
