SPARTANBURG, S.C. —
An investigation is underway after a shooting on Black Friday left one person injured in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The Spartanburg Police Department responded to a home on Whitlock Street after a report of a shooting around 4 a.m.
Officers arrived and found a man behind the home, who was yelling and calling for his friend's help.
According to the incident report, the man was lying on his side with multiple areas of his clothing covered in blood. Officers provided life-saving measures until EMS arrived.
The man told officers that he did not know who shot him. He was then transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
