COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office tells 11 News a large police presence at a gas station in Security-Widefield Saturday afternoon was due to an ongoing investigation.

Video circulating online shows a large number of Fountain Police officers and deputies from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office surrounding a vehicle in the parking lot of a Maverick gas station on Security Boulevard.

Officials from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said they stopped a vehicle of interest in connection with a shooting. They said that shooting happened on B Street around 8:00 a.m.. They said one person had minor injuries.
