HOT SPRINGS -- A Mabelvale parolee was arrested Monday evening after authorities said he drove a stolen vehicle with drugs and his teenage daughter inside and fled from officers on foot.
Cody Andrew Thompson, 35, was taken into custody shortly after 4 p.m. on felony charges of theft by receiving and possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal use of a prohibited weapon involving metal knuckles and fleeing on foot.
Thompson, who also had two warrants for failure to appear in court and a parole violation warrant, was initially being held on a $12,000 bond, but appeared Wednesday in Garland County District Court, where his bond was set at $10,000.
