On Friday, the Public Timber Project (PTP), a grassroots volunteer-powered 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the future of public lands and duck hunting, announced the successful installation of portable toilets and dumpsters for the 2025 Arkansas duck season opener. This is the beginning of a pilot program for the PTP and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC).

Hunters camp out by the hundreds at public boat ramps in and around public duck hunting areas in Arkansas—locations with no bathroom facilities or dumpsters. Recognizing both the need and the opportunity “to do the right thing,” PTP partnered with AGFC on a pilot program to install facilities for the 2025 duck season opener. kAmp44@C5:?8 E@ @?6 =@42= 5F4< 9F?E6C H9@ H:E?6DD65 E96 56=:G6CJ[ E96 A2C<:?8 =@E “6CFAE65 :? 2AA=
